Strategic Business Planning

What is Strategic Business Planning?

Strategic Business planning is a process where we establish and document business goals as well as an action plan to achieve them. Planning takes place at an operational level (problem identification and resolution), a senior management level (medium-term strategies) and Board level (vision).

A comprehensive business plan brings these perspectives together.

How do we do it?

Our methodology provides the foundation for providing all of our Privately Held Business (PHB) services and is the cornerstone of how we deliver our services and communicate with our clients.

We provide a practical and defined process for developing a business plan by facilitating two half-day workshops with relevant stakeholders.  A Director/s typically facilitates these sessions and provides technical advice as required, and, follow up on agreed next steps.

Depending on the size and complexity of issues facing the business, additional workshops may be held with different stakeholders – management, Board/Executives and shareholders.

What do you get?

Our business planning service includes:

  • Two half-day workshops to develop the plan; and
  • A documented business plan that includes:
  • A summary of your vision, goals and objectives.
  • The businesses strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
  • An overview of your products and services, including emerging ones.
  • An analysis of your market and competitors.
  • A list of critical issues and actions

How does it help you?

A business that fails to plan, plans to fail.  A comprehensive strategic plan is critical for a business to succeed.  A plan helps the owner and manager/s identify issues facing the business in the long term as well as keeping it healthy and profitable in the short term.
